A Beginner’s Guide: How to Sell on Vodus

Whether you are an established business already selling products online or a small business owner looking for the right online platform to sell your products on, becoming a Vodus merchant has never been easier.

We’ve put together this handy guide to help you get started and also included a few tips along the way to ensure you get the best out of selling on Vodus.

Documents & Identification

To speed up your registration process and reduce any delays we advise you to have the following documents at hand which will be required during the registration process.

  1. Malaysian IC
  2. Company Registration Certificate
  3. Bank account details for your business

Step 1. Register Your Business Name and Contact Details

To begin the registration process visit Vodus Merchant and click on “Get Started”

You will then need to provide the following information:

  • Business Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email Address

Before pressing “REGISTER” don’t forget to tick the box to prove you are not a robot and also click the box to confirm you agree with our terms and conditions.

Step 2. Setting Up Your Business Profile

Now that you have access to the Merchant dashboard the final step is to complete all the details on the Business Profile Page

  • Company Name
  • Company Registration Number
  • Company Display Name
  • Business Type
  • Country
  • State
  • District 
  • Postcode
  • Address 1
  • Address 2
  • Company Contact Number
  • Website

You will now need to enter your company description into the section “Describe Your Company To Your Customers”

We recommend making this description as detailed and informative as possible as this will be visible to all shoppers who visit your Vodus store. It will also give you a great opportunity to showcase your business and key selling points you may have.

You will now be required to UPLOAD the following documents:

  • Company Logo
  • Business Registration Certificate (Form 9)

Once You have Uploaded the above files you can now press “Save”

Step 3. Person In Charge Info

For our KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures we require you to complete the following information:

  • Name of Person In Charge
  • Contact Number
  • Position of Person in Charge
  • IC Number. (For Non-Malaysian IC holders you can enter your Passport number)

To ensure your name matches the name on your identification we also require you to take a photo of your IC/Passport showing your name and photo.

Once completed the above steps click on “Save”

Step 4. Bank Info

The last step of completing your Business Profile is to provide your bank details. This information allows us to transfer funds to you for every product you sell on Vodus.

  • Bank Type
  • Bank Account Name 
  • Account Number

To ensure the above information is accurate and also as part of our KYC procedure, we will require you to upload a copy of your company bank statement. We do not require the full statement just the first page which shows the bank details mentioned above

Once the above is completed you can now click “Save” and your Business Profile Registration will now be completed and awaiting Approval from our Vodus Merchant Customer Support Team.
